We’re looking for a resourceful minded full-stack software engineer who is ready to help build and contribute to our platform vision from the ground up.

As a software engineer on our team, you will have the opportunity to build out our ML-driven investment platform and software solutions, work with our investment team to assess and win deals, and collaborate with our startups to solve challenges across a variety of industries such as healthcare, education, cybersecurity, e-commerce, insurance, and finance.

You will be

‍

• Working directly with product leadership, our investment team, and our portfolio companies to understand their needs to define product direction
• Rapidly building, iterating, and integrating end-to-end products with customers, all while architecting for scale as we grow our user base
• Contributing to our research and product capabilities by processing and analyzing data, building ML models, and creating web services/APIs to serve these ML capabilities to our customers
• Participating in the UX/UI design process, developing UIs, and integrating our solutions into our portfolio companies' and our internal workflow systems

About you

‍

• You have been deploying software to production for 3+ years and understand the best practices in the software development life cycle
• You are comfortable with working on multiple things at once and are a great generalist who has experience handling different components of a software system, from DevOps, data processing to front-end/back-end
• You have experience with building UIs with complex workflows (preferably B2B) integrating with multiple back-end systems and APIs
• You have an interest in ML/AI
• You have helped make critical decisions in the early stages of a software development project
• You are a great communicator and you are able to communicate technical topics to a non-technical audience
• You are smart, curious, and ready to learn on the job (you have had to learn and possibly teach many different technologies, whether that comes from your career experience or side projects)
